THE 2019 SUPERSTARS CONCERT – BABY, TINY AND PRE PREP STARS
IS MY CHILD IN THE STAR CLASSES????
If your child attends classes at our Living Faith Venue on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday mornings your child is in our STAR PROGRAM!!
- Star classes are designed for students aged 2-5 years who are not yet attending school!
Sunday 1st December, 2019. 2pm
Stage Rehearsal Saturday 23rd November, 2019. (Time TBA for each class)
Firstly, as always, we must stress that the concert is ALWAYS OPTIONAL OPTIONAL OPTIONAL!
This concert is where every student at SUPERSTARS is welcome to join us for a 2.75 hour concert where your children will do one dance performance and also a big song.
The experience of performing in front of 1500 people on a huge stage at a concert is something that won’t be forgotten!
Again, there is no consequence for choosing to not do the concert, every child is treated as though they ARE performing and we know in our records if we will expect you on the concert day or NOT.
COSTS INVOLVED:
CONCERT FEE: $30 paid by Friday 6th September
FUTURE COSTS INVOLVED that require your responsibility:
SUPERSTARS UNIFORM: (Every item you require including shoes can all be purchased AT SUPERSTARS). This is what all STAR CLASS STUDENTS WEAR as costume.
- Every student – boy or girl needs a SUPERSTARS T-shirt $25
- Boys require own BLACK shorts
- Girls require the PINK SKIRT $40
- Girls and Boys both require BLACK Jazz Shoes
MAKEUP is always optional – Make up is NOT compulsory at SUPERSTARS.
- HOWEVER, if you choose to put lipstick on your child we ask may it please be PINK to match the SUPERSTARS skirt!
TICKETS FOR THE CONCERT
The tickets for this concert don’t have a sale date YET, but you will need to purchase these online when released.
Ticket for Adults are $30 and children requiring a seat are $20.
If you are bringing a child that will sit on your lap, you don’t need to pay for them. Seating is allocated so you need to buy the amount of seats you’d like to sit on.
PLEASE NOTE: The performer does not pay for a ticket – but can still go and watch in audience once they are finished performing more details to follow. Please remember the seats are ALLOCATED.
On Saturday the 23rd November all students come to Chandler Theatre to have a STAGE REHEARSAL in preparation for the CONCERT on the following Sunday (1st December).
The ‘Stage Rehearsal’ on SATURDAY 23rd November
at the Chandler Theatre in the Sleeman Sports Complex.
(Strictly 1 hour – 8am – 9am)
All students are to be in their full SUPERSTARS uniform as above please.
(This purely an experience on the stage and to practice being away from parents).
For this rehearsal, you drop off your child to the allocated ‘Bay’ number in the STARS room and leave immediately. We will give you your ‘Bay’ number closer to the day.
We have NO parents backstage for the concert itself, so we do the same at the rehearsal to prepare the children for the concert day. The Stage Rehearsal goes for strictly 1 Hour.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN TO THE TOILET.
The ‘Concert’ at 2pm on SUNDAY 1st December (Children are dropped off at 1.15pm)
YOU repeat exactly what was practised on the Saturday when you drop them off for the concert and make your way around to the front of the theatre to get into your seats for a 2pm kick off. This takes time.

THIS YEAR WE WILL BE SELLING SINGLE PINK GERBERAS AT THE FRONT DOOR FOR PARENTS TO GIFT CHILDREN. THIS IS A NEW FUNDRAISER, WE HOPE TO HAVE YOUR SUPPORT. THANK YOU. X
